Oil exploration.

I have been asked to research a low level off shore aerial survey task connected to the Provident licence. Rathlin is an area of outstanding beauty and RSB involvement.
However the Island has lost many of its inhabitants over the years and oil related work might address that. I wonder if Rathlin could also become an example of how to preserve habitat whilst producing oil industry activity.
If I am welcome here, I will happily inform Rathlin of developments where I am able. Indeed it may be that a formal visit might be made to open a dialogue with the residents. I would like to see that happen!

many thanks for the kind response. I'm still awaiting further information but believe the work will last approximately two days, mainly over water and be flown before a deadline of April 30th.
